In her four years at sea, the 29.5 metre Esmerelda of the Seas has had the same captain at the helm and only one owner maintaining her to the highest quality. Pair that with unmistakable Italian style and a superb selection of indoor and outdoor living areas, and you’ll begin to understand why Esmeralda of the Seas is an ideal and manageable yacht for any owner new to the yachting scene.
As she joins the market for the first time, she offers a rare opportunity for those curious enough to experience the crème de la crème of the yachting lifestyle. She is currently lying in the South of France, and listing broker Mickaël Mauve at CSO Yachts is on hand to provide guided tours or arrange a ‘try before you buy’ charter. Once on board, keep an eye out for the following key features.
For sale with a great charter record
In the height of summer in the busy Mediterranean, Esmerelda of the Seas still manages to stand out from the crowd. Built by Monte Carlo Yachts in 2018 to a design by Nuvolari Lenard, her pearl-white hull and grey carbon-fibre flybridge create a slick exterior style, as do the long, glazed glass panels and geometrics hull windows.
While her sporty style might reel in guests initially, her real success comes from the service of her long-standing captain and well-maintained interior features.
Esmerelda of the Seas and her four crew have travelled around the West Mediterranean for years. They know the area like the back of their hands and can help a new owner find the best coves, isolated anchorages and secret beaches. Her range of exterior areas come in handy too, such as the large foredeck where guests can enjoy a morning cappuccino, and the generous 70-square-metre flybridge that’s perfect for an evening cocktail watching the sunset. Inside the main saloon, a new owner will find balconies on either side of the yacht to create the all-important on-the-water lounge while at anchor.
Waterside living for a new owner
Across the yacht’s three decks, the water is easily reached whenever the time comes for a swim. Under the canopy of the yacht’s flybridge lies a custom-built four-person Jacuzzi, while on the main deck aft, the large hydraulic platform can be lowered into the water for guests to safely set off for a solo swim or enjoy one of the yacht’s many toys. Packed inside the yacht’s garage, you’ll find a 4.45 metre Williams diesel jet tender, two SeaBobs, paddleboards and kayaks – all of which are included in the sale price.
Comfortable cabins for family and friends
For a 30-metre yacht, having such flexible and spacious sleeping arrangements is a luxury. Inside, there’s room for up to 11 guests across five magnificent en-suite cabins. The master suite is located on the main deck, while the remaining four are on the deck below, including the convertible twin bed suite.
Each room has its own air-conditioning unit, entertainment system and decor chosen by Venice-based design studio Nuvolari Lenard. The interiors throughout the yacht are light and airy, and the serenity is preserved thanks to the yacht’s soundproofing which ensures that the noise levels are kept as low as 45 dB in some areas while at anchor.
Easy, pristine and efficient operation
Esmerelda of the Seas’ new owner will have freedom of travel thanks to the EU to US electrical transformer – an asset to any yacht and owner wanting to go the distance. She is an up-to-date yacht, particularly after receiving a refit in 2020 upon completion of her two-year warranty programme. The current owner invested in a stronger air conditioning system and a repaint of the yacht’s hull, superstructure and radar arch. The engines and CMC stabilisers were also given a service, along with a range of other performance-enhancing updates.
In her engine room, you’ll find an onboard water treatment system and the latest generation of low-fuel consumption engines. The owner also invested in a larger fuel tank so Esmerelda of the Seas could carry 18,000 litres of fuel, which when travelling at her eco speed of 15 knots, burns just 100 litres per hour to a maximum range of 1,800 nm. These systems aim to minimise the 119 GT yacht’s effects on marine life, as do the choices of ecological and biological products used on board.
