The top new superyachts for charter in 2023

After several exciting deliveries this year and more anticipated early next year, there are a host of incredible new superyachts gearing up for their inaugural charter season in 2023. BOAT looks at the best, brand new superyachts available to charter for the first time ever this season...

O'Rea

Stats: 77m, Golden Yachts, 2023, 12 guests

With her delivery scheduled for June 2023, O’Rea has remained very much under wraps during construction, with the first renderings being released a few days ago. What is certain, however, is that the shipyard's latest project is set to amaze, thanks to her striking design penned by long-time collaborator Stefano Vafiadis

On board, O’Rea has eight generous guest cabins including a large owner's cabin with an adjoining private office. There are also 250 finishes in the interiors, including precious stones, and the yacht benefits from a beach club which is home to a Finnish sauna, Turkish hammam and massage room for unbeatable relaxation on board.

O’Rea will be managed for charter by Atalanta Golden Yachts.

AIX

Stats: 44.5m, Sanlorenzo, 2022, 10 guests, 9 crew

The sixth hull from Sanlorenzo’s successful Alloy series, AIX is intrinsically unique having been designed specifically for charter in Australia. Spending her inaugural season on the east coast, between Sydney and Queensland, the 44 metre yacht is destined to offer something new to the land down under.

Guests on board will be accommodated in the four cabins on the lower deck, where large rectangular windows mean that light floods in even when the yacht is berthed between two vessels. But the most impressive space on board is undoubtedly the master, which is split across three levels.

Thanks to an impressive toy box, there is never a dull moment on board AIX, with stand-up paddle boards and jet skis to choose from. There are also 16 dive tanks on board, along with every bit of diving equipment one would expect to explore the depths.

AIX is managed for charter with Ocean Alliance with a weekly charter rate from AUD$350,000.

Come Together

Stats: 60m, Amels, 2022, 12 guests, 14 crew

Be one of the first to set foot on board the Amels 60 Limited Editions Come Together as she sets sail for the Mediterranean this summer. She is the first in a new generation of Limited Editions models from the boards of lauded superyacht designer Espen Øino and is packed with every amenity you could wish for.

Days spent on Come Together start and finish on the sundeck, which stretches almost half of the yacht's entire length. The sun deck is the crowning jewel on board (although the beach club and its 38-square metre swim platform could give this spot a run for its money). An outdoor cooking station with a teppanyaki grill brings the family together for al fresco lunches, where guests are more than welcome thanks to an extendable dining table that seats up to 18 guests. A bar and Jacuzzi offer the perfect set-up for lazy afternoons, and when the sun sets, the space can be transformed into a cinema under the stars.

Come Together can sleep up to 12 guests across six beachy staterooms, including an oversized owner's suite with a folding terrace for quiet coffees, a main deck "Madame" suite and four additional guest cabins on the lower deck each with direct access to the beach club. Morning swim anyone?

Come Together is available for charter with Y.CO starting from $450,000 per week.

Ace

Stats: 44.2m, Conrad, 2022, 10 guests, 9 crew

As the largest yacht ever to be built in Poland, the brand new 44 metre Ace is an exciting addition to the charter fleet. Her striking exterior is from the boards of British studio Raymond Langton in collaboration with Dutch-based Diana Yacht Design and interiors – which are yet to be revealed – by Milan-based firm M2 Atelier.

What we do know, however, is that there will be ample space on board, with 494GT of interior volume granted by her 8.9 metre beam. Large windows on the main deck and lower deck cabins will also flood the interiors with light. Ace has four ‘lounge zones’ on board, a cinema, two bars, two dining spaces and an infinity pool on the sun deck.

Ace is available for charter with Luxury Charter Group with a weekly charter rate of €240,000.

Kenshō

Stats: 75.2 metres, Admiral, 2022, 12 guests, 23 crew

Designed with nature at the forefront, Kenshō’s exteriors and interiors emulate the natural world with curved lines. Views out to the water are also the priority, meant to be enjoyed from almost every angle – particularly in the panoramic main saloon with its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Each of the decks is connected by a statement central staircase and elevator, with her Jouin Manku interiors finished with warm wood panelling and design touches inspired by Asian mythology.

Outdoors, a spectacular sundeck offers a glass-fronted Jacuzzi and cocktail bar, with glass windbreak doors that can close off the area to the elements without disrupting the vistas. Closer to the water, a swimming deck with direct access to the sea is topped off with a six-metre pool, workout space and lounge area. Further entertainment is offered in the form of a well-stocked toy box, filled with Jet Skis, inflatables, e-Foils and mountain bikes for onshore exploration.

Kenshō is available for charter with Y.CO from €850,000 per week.

Ahpo

Credit: Tom van Oossanen

Stats: 115.1 metres, Lürssen, 2021, 16 guests, 36 crew

Another titan from the Lürssen shipyard, the immense Ahpo was designed inside and out by Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard and is immediately recognisable by the distinctive black stripe across her entire superstructure. The word "Ahpo" is understood to mean “grand lady” in Mandarin, and she certainly lives up to her name with her opulent interiors. Indoor spaces have been intricately designed with lavish decorations, from the Japanese Maple leaf-patterned bed in the master cabin to the sauna with mosaic tiling covering the walls in a deep blue hue.

At 115 metres long and offering 5,000 GT of interior space, there’s plenty of room on board for luxury amenities. Highlights include an interior spa with a hot tub and relaxation area, a gym and an elegant lounge with a piano and drinks bar. A helipad will provide seamless arrivals and departures for her first charter guests.

Ahpo will join the Moran Yacht & Ship charter fleet and be available for select charters in 2023.
