Tena Tena Camp

Nestled deep in the bush along the Luangwa River, Tena Tena is a wonderfully intimate place with six walk-in tents furnished with comfortable beds and furnishings. There is an en suite outdoor shower and toilet, and a private veranda with chairs for relaxing between game drives. This is a relaxed Hemingway-style camp, simple yet extremely comfortable, where you wake to the aroma of the woodfire heating water in the cool morning air and really get the sense of being very close to nature. The dining room is an open thatched structure that overlooks the Luangwa River, where hippos wallow and lions roam.
